8TH MAY HURRY COME
I just cut my hair yesterday and did treatment. It's not much of a difference in the photo but my head feels so much lighter and my hair is SO smooth like baby's hair! But I only hate tying my hair now cos' it's not as thick and nice as it looks in a ponytail compared to last time. Need to wait for the bush to grow!
Countdown to my exams: 2 DAYS
I'm having mixed feeling about it. Not motivated but yet, don't wanna drown in the pool of my big fat ego if I don't do well. Honestly, it isn't looking good this week. Facing the biggest giants of my semester, the numbers paper. It has been countless of days mugging, mugging mugging. I have two good reasons for 8th May to come.
I can watch youtube, use facebook and watch teevee without feeling GUILTY. I can lie in bed and play my iPad without feeling GUILTY. I can go out shopping, meet friends or whoever for dinner without feeling GUILTY. Actually, me cooping myself at home with the books is just so I won't feel guilty and won't blame myself if I didn't do well - Cos I tried. And I really did!
#2. WILSON IS COMING BACK SOON
Okay I make it sound like damn soon, but actually I got 2 and a half more weeks to go. Only one week passed and it feels horribly long already. I just got a phone call from him this afternoon (: He just reached Taiwan this morning. I hope he have fun tonight with the good food and the bubble tea! Wished he could bring back some good bbt for me hehe authentic bbt, yums. Ok, so when 8th May comes, it means there is only 2 more days till he is back! :D But he has to sail for another week after he is back for a day. But nvm. The wait is over! At least between the 8th till he comes back, I can do whatever I want - eat, shop, go out, laze at home AND PLAY FREAKING LAN GAMES. HAHAHA. I'm quite an addict to battleship - not the movie (I haven't watch it yet) but the World of Warcraft game It used to be our weekly Friday late night activity till 5am but it's on hold now, due to exams. Excited!!!
#3. I can start planning for a travel trip again!
I will be going for a holiday in June but not sure where so when 8TH May comes, I can start planning for a good trip and get really excited over it :D Damn. Now I'm already excited. Wanted to go Hong Kong cos' it has to be our annual trip every year but W only prefers it during its winter ): Means no summer shopping for me.... But I might consider Australia or Bangkok or..... I don't know. Anywhere! 8TH MAY JUST COME AND I'LL BE SO HAPPY HAHA.
OK now that I've listed all the reasons to be excited for, I should be more motivated to study better now. Bye for now! I realized I only talk a lot on my blog, but I have been speaking very little words these few days ): Haha well, I used to only talk to Wilson like every night, vomitting 20,000 words to him and he seems like the only one I can actually really talk to without feeling judged and who really understands me. At least I got time to blog now and it can contain all my opinions (: Either ways, I'm happy.
Have a great week ahead, and lucks to everyone having their exams too!

Books, Begone!
Attempt of studying at work now is a terrible fail today. I don't know why but whenever I open my book and try to read and understand the numbers, I start to yawn countless of times and I feel sleepy. I wished I was study-material.
Anyways, I'm taking time off from my unproductive studying doing something I enjoy better - writing. Haha. I love to talk in my mind. You must be thinking I'm really weird... Hehe but it makes me happy just having conversations and thoughts in my mind.
So yesterday was a VERY random day - something which Taufiq and I have been wanting to do/experience for a long long time. It caught us off-guard when I was supposed to having a boring Wednesday but the two Ts' happened to have an off day so we were supposed to meet for our usual LAN games aka Dota/Battleship. But I had to go Little India to collect my TDF products which I won from Nuffnang! So Taufiq decided to give me ride to Little India and while I was collecting my stuff, he went to buy some Indian kueh he claimed was very delicious.
It took me awhile to find the pictures of it because I have no idea what it is called and my description of it didn't help either. But yay, einstein-me at its best :D

Mysore Pak.

I read online about this sweet 'dessert'.
Mysore pak is a sweet dish of Karnataka, India, usually served as dessert. It is made of generous amounts of ghee (clarified butter), sugar and gram flour.
Somesay Mysore pak was first created in the kitchens of the Mysore Palace by a palace cook named Kakasura Madappa out of the above ingredients. The cook at the Mysore Palace kitchen simply made a concoction of besan, ghee and sugar. The sweet that was formed delighted the royalties so much that it became a "Royal Sweet". When asked its name, Madappa obviously didn't have its name, so he simply called it the ‘Mysore pak’, a delicacy from the Mysore Palace. The king relished the sweet so much that he got Madappa to set up shop outside the palace grounds so that it could be made available to common people.
Interesting huh? It is actually a South Indian dessert. Well, when you first see it, you wouldn't really be interested to try. Haha. It looks hard and dry... But once you sink your teeth into it, you will be surprised how easily it crumbles! If you don't eat carefully and gently, you might make a mess around you. It is very sweet and there are different flavours to it.
One of the 3 cakes that Taufiq bought was hot pink in colour! It caught my eye... And when I tried it, mmmm it has coconut inside. There was one which was original flavour without added stuff and one more which was the best, my favourite actually. It had like egg taste with something I can't describe.
Well, you can try making your own Mysore pak (: I will leave the recipe at the bottom. I'd love to try making my own one day!
...
Back so story, he went to buy food while Terence and I waited in the car. He asked us to drive down to the MRT station and we did but had to wait so so so long for him. We thought what happened, but he called and told us he met a pretty girl. Haha. Guys... So we went to AMK and play a game of DOTA. He told us about the Korean girl who just reached Singapore and got lost so needed help to get to her hostel and he helped her with her luggage. Then he said, maybe we could be her tour guide! Random things! I thought our chat was just a joke and it couldn't be serious but no, "What time will we reach?" The girl asked. Haha. I knew we were going back to Little India.
Picked the korean girl at 6pm, she is only a year older than me. Like any other korean girl, she had flawless white skin (great envy!) And she is so skinny. She dress like any rich korean actress you see on television. You have no idea, if I could take korean as my second language, I would! I love all their expressions and actions.
We brought her to orchard road, had lots of snacks and finger food. Then we went to Marina Barrage and headed to Kembangan (our current usual favourite food place) at Mak's Place for dinner and ended the day with durians. Hahaha. She hate durians. She said she can't understand why we love durians and she can totally understand why there is a law against bringing durians into the buses, trains or cabs. I don't know about you, but I'm thankful my parents introduced me to durians. I love it!

This is our korean friend, Hyelim.
We have more photos but it's with Xh and I doubt he will be posting anytime soon hehe. The guys will bring her out today and tomorrow while I will just focus on my books and my kdrama. hahaha.
Sailorboy is sailing today till Saturday and he will be long gone sailing next Tuesday for a month! ): It will be really different without him, well, I kinda forgot how it is without him for a long time. I always see him everyday and after our busy day at work/school, we would meet for dinner, movie or whatsoever. I'm gonna miss him... Like how I already did.
Alright, gonna go back to my books and YOLO to my first overnight study session at Airport. It's only the beginning of a student's nightmare.
xx

All the girls in the club, put your freakin’ hands up
Can't find anything better to do but update my blog. At least it comforts an empty Friday night.
If you have to ask me about Singapore's night life, I have a few 'one word'(s) to say - Pathetic. Struggling. Mundane. Boring.
Well, unless you love drinking and clubbing and don't mind it for your daily mid-week affair, you will join my club. Feelin' lost and not knowing what to do on a Friday night is one of the worst feeling. Especially when you want to bring your relatives from overseas around... You have to do a month plan before they arrive if not you will struggle like what we are doing now.
Ladies' night is popular for Wednesdays' affair. The girls get the free drinks and the guys get the girls (or maybe just get to SEE the flock of chicks). Haha. If you need good clubbing suggestions, I may not be the PRO in that but I can share my personal favourites. I used to only frequent PLAY during my younger playful days (; PLAY is a small club at Maxwell, Tanjong Pagar. It is frequent by lesbians on Thursday nights and Gay nights on Friday. I used to go another club called "The Arena" before I head to PLAY cos' they have ladies night on Thursdays - FREE DRINKS YEA!! But it's only fun if you go with a good company. I had a whole lot of drama and a share of good/bad memories there.
Moving on, I actually experienced other clubs along the way. Zouk, Attica, Powerhouse, Avalon (the one at MBS).... I have only ONE favourite. It never fails to perk me up for the night.

Last Saturday, I attended my uni group mate's birthday at Timbre@Substation. I always loved Timbre. The environment is just amazing. They are able to convert a back alley of the building into such a chill-out cozy place. Kuddos to the bands too! I love Goodfellas! They are like the best local band I've ever heard.

Birthday boy on the left + My lovely friends in SIM

The very loving fun two-of-them

OH what else to love about timbre other than the good atmosphere and LIVE band and drinks....

TADA! THIS!

DUCK PIZZA! MMMM :p
It's the best pizza ever. Wished there were more duck meat but it's already nice like that. You can even order half flavours pizza, which means TWO flavours on your pizza. That is a fixed $22 for half pizzas. The normal one ranges around $15-18? Yeah. It's all worth it if you like skinny pizzas.

We had the biggest group there, and we sent in dedications for Brian to the band but sadly they didn't play ours.

That's about it. If you haven't tried Timbre@Substation, you should go on Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday for the Goodfellas!
